Claude, an arrogant and Cartesian consultant, firmly believes that everything in life can be explained by logic. His meeting unexpected with Madeleine, an eccentric clairvoyant, begins to shake his certainties. Unforeseen events, corresponding to Madeleine's predictions, occur, sowing doubt in Claude's mind. Faced with the limits of his skepticism and need for control, he learns from Madeleine that true wisdom lies in accepting the unknown. Gradually, Claude opens up to new perspectives, finding a new balance in his life. Transformed, he accepts that some mysteries of life remain inexplicable, symbolized by the final disappearance of Madeleine's stand.
