Hubert Von Klax, inventor eccentric, creates ultra-complex machines to solve ridiculous problems. But when the Minister of Defense sees in his Automatic Banana Peeler 3000™ a potential secret weapon, everything goes wrong.

What followed was a delirious escalation in which France and the Grand Duchy of Schnitzelberg confronted each other with weapons that were as useless as they were dangerous: combat butter dishes, sauerkraut catapults and machine-gun stoners. But as war threatens to explode, soldiers on both sides discover…that they have too hungry to fight.
