Pierre Lentels, a sales clerk and student in parapsychology, meets an old man in distress in front of a train station. After helping him, the old man mysteriously disappears, leaving behind a color-changing box. At home, Pierre discovers an envelope containing various strange objects and a USB key with a cryptic message. His search leads him to Edgar Allan Poe's grave in Baltimore, where he finds another box. A new clue leads him to the Orlando airport, where he retrieves a briefcase full of documents revealing that he is now a special investigator in parapsychology.
