“The Cost of OWN” is a novel mysterious and captivating which interweaves the paranormal with a contemporary detective investigation. The story follows Marina Lorskey, a private detective, who finds herself immersed in the mystery of Maria de la Peña, an enigmatic woman nicknamed “the magnetizer” for her supposed power to cure the ailments of the soul thanks to her ties to mystical entities known as “THE HIS ONES”.

When Marina is contacted by Molly Loucas, a client recently healed by Maria, she discovers not only Maria's unusual methods but also accounts of miraculous healing. However, Molly's joy is short-lived, as she begins to suffer from strange and disturbing disorders, just like other former patients of Maria.

 

Marina, guided by her curiosity and her instinct, seeks to reveal the identity of HISENS and to understand the nature of their pacts with Maria. His investigations lead her to disturbing revelations about the true cost of SIEN's interventions, revealing that cures are followed by dark and sometimes dangerous consequences.

 

The narrative culminates when Maria mysteriously disappears, leaving behind unanswered questions and a series of victims struggling with forces they don't understand. Marina, confronted with dimensions of reality that defy logic, must then figure out how to protect the innocent while unraveling the threads of a truth that transcends the visible world.
